I am a PhD student at the London School of Economics and Political Science. My work is at the intersection of philosophy and machine learning.
The central topic of my PhD thesis is the use of causal models in the domain of algorithmic fairness. My aim is, in particular, to address a number of conceptual problems and logical incompatibilities that occur in this field of research, which I intend to illustrate with empirical analyses of real world data. I hope to thereby contribute a small part to the problem of developing fair and equitable algorithms for automated decision-making.
